Architect: RLF/Ellerbe Becket, A joint Venture
The new Orlando VA Medical Center will provide a comprehensive modern healthcare facility for Central Florida Veterans. The 1.2 million square foot facility is part of the developing Medical City at Lake Nona in Orlando, Florida.
ALLAN and CONRAD Inc. participated as a team member in the structural design of the Congregate Living Facility, Chapel, Warehouse/Engineering Buildings, and the Central Energy Plant. In addition, consultation services for all buildings at the VA complex was provided with regard to Blast/Progressive Collapse Mitigation in accordance with the VA Physical Security Design Manual.
