For the past three years the Allan and Conrad Retreads has ridden in Tour de Cure Orlando to raise money for Diabetes. Rider abilities range from the weekend leisure rider to the 100-mile rider. We were reminded of the need for a cure in 2008 when a close colleague and friend was discovered alone in his home in a diabetic coma. Fortunately, he has recovered, but this emphasized the significance of this debilitating disease. We have raised over $18,000 for the American Diabetes Association and won't stop until a cure is found.
